Saving on Your Honeymoon
The honeymoon. Tropical island, isolated cabin, condo by the beach, cruise, theme park, anywhere you want to go. Honeymoons are generally one of the larger expenses of weddings, and most people don't consider the cost when they start a budget.
Groupon* is an awesome place to look for discounts on local hotels for a "staycation" or to find great deals on clothing and luggage. There is also Groupon Getaways, which lists a TON of vacations to all sorts of destinations. Some deals even include airfare! They also have suggestions for romantic getaways and deals for the budget conscience under $99. Some vacation offerings may end before your wedding, so check frequently for new trips closer to your date! Amazon Local also has similar deals to Groupon Getaways in their "Entertainment and Travel" section.
Sam's Club and Costco offer travel deals and packages for their members. These deals have the same range and similar rates as Groupon trips, but because the trips are based around partnerships between the companies it may be easier to find a vacation around your desired date. Costco also has a nice search function similar to Orbitz and other travel booking sites.
Now if you can't find anything on Groupon or Amazon, or you just have a really specific destination in mind for your trip, Expedia, Orbitz*, Priceline, Travelocity, and many, MANY more websites are available to earn cash back rewards through Ebates*. Ebates can also earn cash back with other online retailers - again this can help you save on luggage, clothing, and even some of the activities that you and your new partner wish to participate in (Comic Con, anyone? Yeah, $10 off using Ebates. I know, right?)
